Sandwich panel walls, insulated against heat and noise
The Insulated Panel Cabin is built from sandwich panel, and that construction is what the range is organised around. The panel walls hold back heat and sound together, so the person on duty is kept off the worst of the summer and out of the winter cold, and works in a space that is isolated from the noise going on outside it. Wind, rain and direct sun are kept out the same way, which is what lets the cabin stand outdoors for years rather than for a season.
The outside asks very little in return. The cladding wipes clean and needs no routine attention to stay presentable, so a cabin that has been on the gate for a long time still looks like part of the organisation rather than something left over from the last project.
Delivered wired, ready to be sited
Cabins arrive with the electrics already in place — lighting and socket outlets fitted inside, and the connections prepared for mains power and water. Ventilation comes as part of the build. Nothing has to be constructed on site: no foundations, no fitting-out, no second trade after the delivery lorry has gone, which is what makes the range worth considering for short-term work as well as for a permanent post.
Moving one later is equally undemanding. A forklift or a crane lifts the cabin and sets it down wherever it is wanted, and it can be lifted again and reused somewhere else when the site plan changes.
Five sizes, from a single post to a shared office
The range runs from 1.10m × 1.10m up to 2.60m × 2.60m. The smallest models are made for a confined pitch where one person needs shelter and a clear line of sight to the approach, and they take up little enough ground to drop into a gateway or a kerbside that has no room to spare.
The middle of the range gives a single member of staff a proper working position — enough floor for a desk and chair, and for a control panel or the equipment the role happens to need. The largest sizes go further again, holding desks, seating, a cabinet and control screens, and taking several people on duty at once. Generous glazing brings daylight into the larger models, which matters on a long shift.
Where insulated panel cabins are used
- Security and control points at estate gates, factory and warehouse entrances, and school and hospital campuses.
- Car parks and valet services, where staff need somewhere sheltered to work and store the equipment that goes with the job.
- Reception and visitor control, greeting arrivals and directing them at a private entrance or a building forecourt.
- Construction sites and logistics centres, as a site enquiries point or a temporary office.
- Events and public venues — exhibitions, concerts, sporting fixtures and municipal service points, where a ticket or control cabin is needed for a fixed run of dates and then moved on.
