Precast Concrete Cabins

Precast concrete cabins are Karmod's gatehouses for entrances where the frontage matters. Walls and roof are glass-fibre reinforced concrete (GRC) panels on a galvanised steel frame, finished with a deep cornice, recessed panels, pilaster-style corners and three gold-coloured lines for a cast-stone look.

Where a GRP or insulated panel hut would look out of place, such as at a gated development, hotel, head office, private school, museum or VIP entrance, a cast concrete cabin is closer in look to the stone and brick around it. The Precast Concrete Cabin comes in two sizes, both 2.40 m tall: 1.50 m × 1.50 m for one person on duty at £13,750 + VAT, and 1.50 m × 2.70 m for two people or a desk and equipment at £18,900 + VAT. Each has anthracite grey aluminium frames, smoked reflective double glazing and stone wool insulation. Factory-fitted wiring, lighting and sockets come with the optional Standard Electrical Pack at £475 + VAT, an electric wall heater is £225 + VAT, air conditioning is not offered, and an armoured version is available at a price on application. Prices exclude delivery and offloading.
