Office Phone Booth – One-Person Acoustic Booth, 1.05 m × 1.05 m

The Karmod Office Phone Booth is a one-person acoustic booth for private phone and video calls in open-plan offices, co-working spaces and libraries. It measures 1.05 m × 1.05 m and 2.24 m high (3 ft 5 in × 3 ft 5 in × 7 ft 4 in) and costs £4,450 + VAT, or £5,340 inc VAT.

It has a small built-in worktop on the side wall, a ceiling light and a power point. Our white-background photos show the actual booth, with a charcoal exterior and mustard-yellow padded panels inside. The office scene is an illustration, not a customer installation.

Office Phone Booth size and price

The booth takes about 1.1 m² of floor space. Prices are per booth and exclude delivery and offloading.

What the price includes

Lighting, power, the worktop and a 1-year warranty are included; furniture, delivery and offloading are not.

Delivered assembled: check your access route

The booth arrives fully assembled, in one piece, wrapped in bubble wrap and stretch film, so it must pass through every opening on the way in. A standard UK internal door leaf (about 0.76–0.84 m × 1.98 m) is smaller than the booth in both directions.

Before you order, measure:

• every door and entrance, fully open, at its narrowest and lowest point: you need at least 1.05 m clear width and 2.24 m clear height, plus room for the wrapping;
• corridors, turns, lifts and stairs;
• the ceiling height where the booth will stand.

Double doors of standard 1.98 m height are still too low. Send us the measurements and photos of the route.

What does NRC 0.95 mean?

NRC 0.95 is the supplier's figure for the booth's interior acoustic surfaces. NRC (noise reduction coefficient) runs from 0 to 1 and describes how much sound a surface absorbs rather than reflects: at 0.95 the panels absorb most of the sound reaching them, cutting echo inside the booth. It does not measure sound passing through the walls, and we quote no decibel reduction or speech privacy rating.

Can the Office Phone Booth be used outdoors?

Which pod should you choose?

Choose the phone booth for private calls where floor space is tight; it is the smallest of our four office pods. For longer work or meetings:

FAQs

How much does an office phone booth cost?

£4,450 + VAT, or £5,340 including VAT at 20%, with LED lighting and a power socket / USB charging point. Delivery, offloading and any furniture are quoted separately.

Does the phone booth come with a seat?

No. It has a built-in worktop on the side wall; any stool shown in the images is for illustration and quoted separately.

Do I need permission to put a booth in my office?

If you rent the office, ask your landlord or building manager before ordering. A freestanding indoor booth is not a building extension, but add it to your workplace fire risk assessment, for example whether alarms can be heard inside and escape routes stay clear.
